Extrusion Blow Molding Machines (ISIT/EC/TA)

ST BlowMoulding’s technologies in their extrusion blow molding machines, ensure lightness and reliability of the hollow packaging items, together with high productivity and consistent quality. The machines are known to produce high-performing plastic hollow parts going in automotive, industrial as well as specialty applications, at the lowest cost.

With growing demand from customers, ST is also rapidly expanding its machines portfolio for parts requiring wider material usage, parts going in safety and mobility applications e.g. low to high pressure composite pressure vessels (CNG, Hydrogen, LPG etc).

ST makes both accumulator head extrusion as well as continuous extrusion head blow molding machines which are very commonly used in producing for various plastic blow molded parts e.g. big toys, outdoor furniture, table tops, jerry cans, plastic drums, Lring drums, IBCs, airducts, plastic fuel tanks, kyaks, flower pots and many more items.

Their blow molding machines feature a special clamping unit design with a "tie-bar less" structure (without columns) that allows the mounting of oversized molds and makes the extraction of the manufactured piece easier. Available also with multiples extruders for multi- layers parts and also view strips if required.

Their accumulator head as well as continuous extrusion blow molding machines use a “3 platen” clamping system, where the force is applied to the rear of each platen by a cross beam, avoids an unbalanced transmission of clamping force to the mold platen and, at the same time, allows the utilization of over-sized molds with dimensions greater than the platens themselves. The “3 platen” design offers and excellent technical/economic solution that offers the possibility to produce plastic articles of large dimensions and to mount the molds from the above.
